Literature Review on the use of E-Learning for Healthcare Practitioners
This literature review examines the literature around E-learning for healthcare practitioners. It begins by looking generally at E-learning for healthcare practitioners and goes on to look at examples of practice in undergraduate study, generally within the NHS and then specifically at experiences within nursing and postgraduate medical education. Some international experiences of E-learning are also considered. Finally, other related technologies and future related developments are discussed.
National Standards for E-Learning Content Development from Connecting for Health
Areas to consider, and activities to undertake, when developing and using E-learning; these will be used by NHS Education South West with suppliers when commissioning E-learning products.
