The E-Learning Developer Network is run by volunteers on an unfunded basis. The network is a series of forums and resources for developers of e-learning, where ideas, questions and best practice can be shared.
The network was formally launched in September 2009 after a successful review phase. Here is some of the feedback on the network web site that came out of the review:
- “A much needed, much appreciated tool.”
- “It looks like there is a wealth of experience to draw on.”
- “I think it will be a useful tool and a good way of everyone working together and sharing info.”
- “A great resource for developers.”
The developer network can be accessed at: https://www.portal.nss.cfh.nhs.uk/sites/connlearn/eldev/
Please make use of and contribute to the resources to bring the full benefits NHS e-learning community. Feel free to use the discussion forums and other tools to get direct access to e-learning expertise, and to network and collaborate with colleagues within the community. There is also a comprehensive section on developer software tools as well as configuring e-learning for the NLMS.
Membership is open to anyone working within the NHS who has an interest in e-learning development and engagement.
Please contact the E-Learning Developer Network Co-ordinator with any queries.
