Funding for Non-Medical Prescribing programmes is currently available. Nurses, pharmacists, radiographers, physiotherapists, podiatrists and optometrists are currently able to access funding for course fees only, however, this funding will be subject to the South West Strategic Health Authority’s funding priorities. Funding for Continuing Professional Development training for qualified Non-Medical Prescribers is also likely to be available. For further details, please contact your Trust’s Prescribing Lead. The South West Strategic Health Authority has also funded a Regional Lead to provide a link between Trust prescribing leads and the provider universities.
