Welcome to the collaborative South West simulation website, designed to bring together the shared expertise of the Peninsula and Severn regions.
The sharing of ideas and experiences across a broad South West network should help enrich knowledge, facilitate course and curricula design and widen participation in simulation.
This portal provides support and information for faculty and learners to build simulation into healthcare education, develop multidisciplinary training and promote interprofessional learning.
Simulation activity is mapped across the region to promote collaboration in course delivery, research and innovation. The database of resources should enhance awareness and utilization of existing equipment and support asset sharing.
The aspiration is to engage with the spectrum of healthcare providers using the breadth of simulation modalities. A broad contribution is encouraged to enhance and sustain this resource.
